Thanksgiving Day...
Hola everyone! Today I thought I would share with you all some photos of my family and I's Thanksgiving day. For Thanksgiving this year my family and I went up to the mountains and went sledding! We also got our Christmas tree, roasted marshmallows, and drank hot chocolate. It was such a fun day!! :) I hope you all enjoy the photos I took and let me know which one is your favorite! :)

What did you do for Thanksgiving?
This place looks like a wonderland! So magical, glad I checked on your blog after you commented what you did on mine!
ReplyDeleteI know! As soon as we were there I was in awe! Snow is so beautiful and magical. :)
DeleteWow! Winter is so beautiful, isn't it? Your dogs look so cute in the snow! I'm so excited for snow here-& when I can go sledding! (Sam LOVES the snow too!) Beautiful photos, Shelby!

I agree, Mic, it is! :) Thank you so much!
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Ellie!! :)
DeleteGreat pictures! Does your sister Shealynn have a blog?

Thank you Allie! :) Yes, she does! Its called, The Crazy Chick. I am actually going to be doing a post introducing her blog soon! :)
DeleteI actually just recently followed it and was wondering if it was your sister! It's a small blog world! :)

Wow, it is a small blog world! ;)
DeleteLovely photos!
ReplyDeleteThe one of the marshmallow roasting is gorgeous.
The mountains, with all the snow, look so pretty.
Remy is so cute.
Is it bad that I've never been sledding? I feel like my life is incomplete bow, excuse me while I try to find a mountain or hill. ( I do surf before and it's really fun)
Aww, thank you so much Emily!
DeleteNo, its not bad at all! But, you should definitely try it some time! :) I have never gone surfing before!! I have always wanted to though.
Hmmm. Can I say: Oh. My. Gravy??? This is totally AWESOME!!! Don't ever, never, ever take a class in photography, because you could totally "smoke" your teachers!!! : P
ReplyDeleteOh, and yeah, my favorite pic is the smoke pic! haha That's kinda like the one I sent you with the trees and the sunlight. ha! : ) Except yours is a lot prettier than mine because of the really tall pine trees and the oh, so beautiful snow adds a lot of interest to the photo! ; )
The dog pictures are awesome!! Its so hard to get animals to look straight at a camera, isn't it? I have to take like 50 pics, then go back and pick the best one to get them like that. Great job!
The best fire pic you've got there, in my opinion, is the 8th one. So beautiful! I think I like it the best because you zoomed in on the fire, leaving all the dirty snow out. Its lets you focus on the fire.
All of those pics are first place prize-winners, but best-of-show goes to... number 4! Clarity is perfect, Composition, color contrast, interest and appeal, leading the eye, focus object-- spot on, girl! You take pictures like that in Scotland, and you'll be famous internationally! : )
I cannot congratulate you enough. Well done!
Haha!! Aww, thank you soo much Celandiya!! :)
DeleteThat is exactly what I thought when I was looking at the picture. I thought, "Hey this kind of looks like Celandiya's picture!" Hehe!
Thank you so much! I agree, it is very hard!
Thank you so much! I really like that one too. :)
Aww, thank you!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment! :)
Sounds like a grand way to spend Thanksgiving!! The snowy mountains, roasting marshmallows over the fire, sledding down those awesome slopes...wow. And those trees, I love them. My favorite photos are #'s 1,3, & 9. Glad you had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteIt was a very fun day! :) Thank you so much!
